About Us

Together We’re Stronger

Welcome to Revolution Mental Health Alliance where we are actively seeking to revolutionize the way people see and respond to themselves, others, and how they function in the world. It’s about changing treatment – not just treatment in the sense of coming to therapy or getting medication, but the treatment of themselves and others.

We offer face to face therapy sessions, group coaching, workshops, and telehealth to help individuals, couples and families manage, restore, and preserve their mental and emotional health around life’s stressful circumstances.

Melissa Murphy

My work is dedicated to helping others develop healthy relationships with themselves and others. My passion is assisting others so that they may achieve balance and happiness in their life. I am available to help whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, or relationship difficulties.

I work to create an atmosphere where I will work with you to find solutions that are tailored to your needs. I have completed levels 1 and 2 of the EFT training with Dr. Les Greenberg and Dr. Serene Warwar and utilize the education I gained to work with my clients to achieve their goals and needs.
Finding the correct fit with a therapist is one of the keys to success in therapy. Working towards mental health goals and needs can be daunting, but finding the right therapist and atmosphere can alleviate some of the anxiety and stress. I believe in creating a working alliance in a safe space, so we encourage change.

Elizabeth Lawson

Between my work as a licensed clinical social worker and my previous career as an educator in the public schools, I have over twenty-five years experience educating and supporting individuals in their efforts to grow and learn. I work with individuals who are living with mood disorders and those seeking to navigate life’s challenges and their emotions more effectively. Providing a supportive, encouraging, and safe space in which to process experiences and emotions is my overarching goal. As a Certified Daring Way Facilitator, I apply the research of Dr. Brené Brown to help clients learn to overcome the negative effects of shame and reach a place of wholehearted living. I also offer workshops using The Daring Way curriculums including Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, and Rising Strong. I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Illinois State University, a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Rockford University, and a Master’s of Social Work from Aurora
University. I have completed training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
